Service with Distinction
Our experienced and professional staff are here to guide you through the creation of a service that reflects your values, your preferences, and your loved one’s individual life story. Whether it’s formal or informal, traditional or contemporary a funeral provides an opportunity for family and friends to gather and support one another in taking the first steps of their healing journey. It doesn’t have to be an elaborate event.
The most important part is in the “coming together” with others to share memories, and receive comfort from one another. It can be a very simple ceremony or one where the personality and lifetime achievements of your loved one are showcased. No matter what arrangements you choose, we’re here to help you plan, coordinate and carry out a service perfectly suited to your family’s preferences, needs, and budget. There are endless possibilities for what the service can be, and we’re honored to go above and beyond the call of duty to meet your personalized and specific requests.
Traditional Funeral Service
A traditional funeral, with a visitation or gathering time, gives family and friends an opportunity to offer condolences, share stories, and say goodbye.
Whether open to all acquaintances or a small and private gathering, the familiarity of a traditional funeral and visitation can provide you with comfort and a sense of peace while providing the family a supportive, comforting, yet efficient environment for welcoming family and friends.
Immediate/Direct Burial
Burials are a traditional memorial choice that give families a meaningful physical symbol to mark a loved one’s resting place. At GMFS we offer a broad range of burial options, and we invite you to read about all that’s possible.
We’re here to help you design a service and a physical memorial that will be a beautiful place to visit, forevermore.
Graveside Service
The Graveside Funeral Service includes a short service held at the graveside conducted before your family and friends of the deceased. A graveside service may be conducted immediately following a Traditional Funeral Service; it also is an alternative should you prefer not to have a visitation or a funeral service at our funeral home or your church.
The Graveside Funeral Service consists of family and friends meeting at the grave for a short service conducted by our Funeral Director and clergy of your choosing.
